The group function is used to group one or more peers that report to the same manager.
To group or ungroup boxes:
1 Choose the Select tool . (If you do not see the Toolbar, click the Show command in the Toolbar section on the Format tab.)
2 Select the boxes that you wish to group (Use shift-click to select multiple boxes). All selected boxes must report to the same manager,
3 Right-click on any of the selected boxes.
4 Select Actions | Group Right or Actions | Group Left to group the boxes.
Notes:
(1) Any box that has been grouped can be ungrouped
by right-clicking on that box and selecting Actions | Ungroup.
(2) Boxes can also be grouped by selecting one or more boxes that share
a common manager and then selecting a branch style for those boxes.
(3) Boxes can also be grouped using a data driven approach. See Chart Rules for more information.
